“Dammit, woman, I see you coming on here and liking all these answered questions! I respect that, though, because you’re always trying to pry this stuff out of Elphaba and now I’m on here talking about it, so you saw your chance and took it, good job. Now just cross your fingers she doesn’t whack us both.” ~F
“You say this as if I haven’t walked in on you both countless times, since neither of you can ever seem to keep it in your pants. Besides, Elphie tells me everything. Elphie tells me things you’d probably love to know.”
“Right, and whose fault is that for never bothering to knock? You and Dryx both need to learn how to do that, because I swear, it’s like neither of you ever learned.” ~F
“The last time I caught you, we were unloading groceries in the kitchen! I turned around and you two were just going at it! That’s not my fault!”

Glinda began to tear up, going over to the wardrobe to examine it. “This is absolutely beautiful… Where did you get this? Ugh, I can’t wait to decide what will go in here… Maybe all our work-out clothes?”
He grinned. “Actually…there’s already stuff in there for you. I had it specially made for you. All of it. The vanity, too.”
“Y-You mean, there’s…” She trailed off, opening the door quickly to reveal an enormous selection of dresses, all fitted specifically for her.
“Dryxen! You’re going to make me cry, sweet Oz… I love you so much,” she told him, going to kiss him deeply. “You spoil me far too much…”
“Like I said, you’re more than worth it. I love you, Gnat. Happy birthday.”
She grinned at him, hugging him tightly. “Thank you for all of this, baby. I love it, I really do,” she said, kissing his cheek. “Do you want to go back to Elphie and Fiyero’s to eat?”
He nodded. “Sure, whenever you’re ready.”
She kissed him one more time, before nodding back. “I’m ready. I’ll try all these dresses on later, I’m starved. All I’ve eaten today was that bite of toast you gave me,” she said. “I was so upset I couldn’t join you for breakfast, it was so sweet of you to make it for me…”
“I’ll do it again tomorrow if you don’t have anything you need to go to in the morning. That way you’ll actually be able to eat it,” he said, putting an arm around as they made their way back to Elphaba and Fiyero’s house.
“Aw, you really don’t have to do that, Dryx…”
“I want to, though. I like doing that for you, especially since I know you like to sleep late when you’re able to.”
She kissed his cheek again and they walked into the other house. “Well, thank you… Now, who’s ready to eat?”
“Yes, food, I’m starving!” Jeridan exclaimed.
“No, you just want cake,” Asta said.
“Asta, babe, cake is my friend. You know that. Stop judging me.”
“Is there just cake? We could order some pizza, have dessert before dinner?” Dryxen smirked, knowing how much Glinda loved things like that.
“Oooh, that sounds fun, let’s do that!” Fiyero said eagerly. “I’ll take care of it, be back in a minute.”
They thanked him, sitting down at the table to cut the cake.
All of a sudden, Jeridan shouted, “Wait! We didn’t sing to her!”
Elphaba sighed. “Glinda, do you care? Does it matter to you at all whether we sing or not?”
“No, it doesn’t,” she answered. “I told you guys, I’m perfectly fine, today. I don’t want a lot of fuss, I just want to spend time with my family…”
She nodded, smiling at the blonde. “Alright, then we won’t sing,” she said, and then started cutting the cake.
“Ugh, Glinda, you’re no fun,” Asta pouted.
“That isn’t very nice to say to the birthday girl,” Dryxen reprimanded him, elbowing his side. “She’s the ruler of Oz! Respect is demanded!” He looked at him pointedly, only partially joking.
He rolled his eyes, grinning playfully. “She may be the ruler of Oz, but she’s also my sister-in-law. I think that gives me some wiggle room, don’t you?”
“You’re on thin-fuckin’-ice, bro,” he said, making a gesture that said he was watching him.
“Calm down, Dryxen,” Glinda said, stroking his shoulder soothingly.
“Okay, food’s coming,” Fiyero announced as he came into the room.
“Good,” Jeridan said, his mouth already full of cake.
“What all did you order, Fifi?”
“Just the same thing we usually get to make sure everyone’s happy,” he said, shrugging a little as he sat down next to his wife and kissed her cheek.
“Okay…” She smiled as she ate her cake. “So… How has everyone’s days been..?”
